Sun Assembly English Country Dancers will hold a New Year’s Eve Dance at the Ark on Duke’s East Campus December 31, 2009, starting at 8:30 until we welcome the New Year in with a song and final dance.

Dance a wonderful selection of English Country Dances to the live music of Mara Shea and friends. Calling by Allan Troxler and Russell Herman. Donation: $18 ($15 for Sun Assembly members and Duke students); children under 12 free.

Join Sun Assembly that evening and get the dance and a 2010 membership for $25.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds. A dessert or snack to share at the break would be delightful.

Newcomers welcome!  No partners needed, and all dances will be taught using global (non-gendered) calling.

Remember: Clean dance shoes or socks only – no street shoes.
